1000 KG round sling 

Our 1 tonne round slings are made to UK built BS EN 1492-2:2000 CE standards and have a 7:1 safety factor. Manufactured from high-strength polyester webbing, 1000 kg round slings will lift and transfer a variety of loads, and are ideal when choke-lifting cylindrical shaped items. They are an extremely durable and a softer alternative to wire rope and lifting chains.

1000 kg round slings are utilised in a range of lifting operations, especially for lifting more delicate objects, as the soft outer tube like cover helps to protect the load.

When ordering pay attention to the sizes; Round slings are endless or circular so the  EWL or effective working length is essentially the measurement when folded in half; this is the maximum lifting height achievable. The circumference measurement is also given for reference. Please do not confuse the two measurements. 

The 1 tonne round sling is available with the EWL ranging from 0.5 metres (1 MTR Circ.) up to 6 metres (12 MTR Circ.) Also note the differences in the WLL between the various hitch types. Details in the Specifications above.

In the interests of safety and security, a sling should never be overloaded. This means that if you wish a sling to reliably support a load in excess of 1 tonne, take the time to choose a higher WLL alternative, whether round slings, flat web slings, fibre rope slings or other lifting slings.

Additional sleeving is available to add an extra layer of protection to high wear areas.
